Biography:
Bruce has been a Mid Scotland & Fife MSP since 1999 and from May 2007 has been MSP for Stirling.
He is currently the Minister for Parliamentary Business in the Office of the First Minster.
From 1988 to 2001, Bruce was a councillor in Perth and Kinross and from 1995 to 1999 he was the Council Leader and a Board member of Scottish Enterprise Tayside, Perthshire Tourist Board and Perth College.
Born in Perth in 1955, Bruce was a Civil Servant from 1974-99, is married with three children and lives in Kinross. In his leisure time he enjoys football, golf, and swimming.
